In the Employment Agreement between CVD and our doctors, it is required that our doctors become Diplomates of the American Board of Venous and Lymphatic Medicine (ABVLM). A doctor who has been accredited through the ABVLM will have more experience than any other doctor that you could visit. This certification takes anywhere from 9-16 months to complete, on top of all of the other accreditations your doctor may have. In most cases, a CVD doctor may have a Board Certification in Vascular or General Vascular Surgery and have ABVLM Diplomate status as well.
